A rather windy, cloudy public holiday Friday in Hung Hom/Whampoa Promenade was where the first public Star Wars fun run in Hong Kong took place.

According to the staff, there were about 1,000 sign-ups, which was promising. It wasn't the very first one in Hong Kong I heard, prior there was one in Hong Kong Disneyland, where runners had to do 5K. This is a more public friendly one with 1K or 2K, more walking instead of running due to the distance and space limitation.
Originally the start point was set here... Glad they moved.
Unfamiliar faces felt familiar somehow.
The force was strong.
Participants received a long black cloak and a towel after signing up.
That's the first one that really caught my attention. Gobsmacked is the word.
That's the second one, for very different reason, I couldn't quite take my eyes of him. Maybe my favourite of the night.
Personally it was a rough and tough day, but seeing many Hong Kong SW fans attending, enjoying themselves, and some with special costumes and great makeup is heart warming. May 4 be with you.
